Rain Radars is an independent radar viewer and archive. It is not an official weather service, warning system, or emergency service.
Using this service
The current service is free to browse and does not require an account. Use it responsibly and avoid requests that overload this service or its data providers, interfere with access, or bypass access restrictions. Weather information can be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
Radar data and attribution
Underlying radar data is supplied by the Israel Meteorological Service (IMS); Eilat radar data, where included, is supplied by the Israel Water Authority. Their intellectual-property rights remain with the respective owners. Reuse of underlying information is subject to the IMS rights and terms of use and any applicable written conditions from the provider.
IMS and the Israel Water Authority are not parties to this publication and bear no responsibility for the information or its use. The Rain Radars interface, rain-day classification, cumulative estimates, and water-volume calculations are provided independently by this application.
Estimates and appropriate reliance
Colors represent discrete radar-intensity categories. Cumulative rainfall assumes five minutes per unique included scan. Missing observations, image resolution, unknown pixels, and palette limits affect the results. Drawing a small shape does not increase the radar's spatial resolution. Do not use this application as your sole basis for flood, travel, agricultural, engineering, emergency, or other safety-critical decisions. Consult official IMS forecasts and warnings. Where official publications conflict with displayed data, the official publication takes precedence as described in the IMS terms.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access or complete, accurate, or current observations. Collection outages may leave only earlier saved scans available. Check the observation date, time, selected mode, and feed status. Features and access may change as the service and upstream data sources change.
You are responsible for assessing suitability for your purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Other providers and information
Map tiles, imagery, fonts, and software remain subject to their respective providers' terms. The IMS permission does not grant rights to those services. Read our privacy notice and accessibility statement.
